No clinical trials have been conducted on this specific formula. The primary active compound, berberine (from coptis), has demonstrated anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects in laboratory studies, including inhibition of the NF-κB signaling pathway. An in silico computational study (SAGE Journals, 2021) explored potential antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2, but no clinical data exists.
